The $69.99 deluxe edition (which is $10 more on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S) will give users access to the game 72 hours early and have the Dark Arts Pack.
Those who do pre-order will get the Onyx Hippogriff Mount. The price is $10 more on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The standard edition pre-order will be $59.99 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC when they open up on August 25, but Switch pre-orders won’t go live until a later date. This is shown in the trailer through the Torture Curse, Crucio. Befriending him will give players the decision to embrace or reject the Dark Arts. The trailer previews a side quest that follows Slytherin studio Sebastian Sallow. PT and those who do will get a host of extras. Players can also start pre-ordering the game on August 25 at 8 a.m.
Gamescom’s Opening Night Live held one more look at the title, giving potential wizards another view of the choices it can have. Hogwarts Legacy was recently pushed to 2023, but that doesn’t mean Avalanche Software is out of stuff to show for the role-playing game.
